Purchasing Officer
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement Management: Source, evaluate, and select suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
- Vendor Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers while maintaining strong relationships.
- Inventory Coordination: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Order Processing: Prepare purchase orders, track shipments, and handle any discrepancies or delays.
- Compliance: Ensure that all purchasing activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Market Analysis: Research market trends and analyze supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings or new partnerships.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance for regular reporting to management.
- Knowledge in SAP is a plus!
